Devoran metals are stockists & agents of Pecafil® - a solution to the need for innovative formwork for in-situ and precast concrete structures. Pecafil replaces the need for traditional timber or steel foundation shuttering in the construction of reinforced concrete ground beams, pile caps, bases, ribbed floor formwork and recesses.
Pecafil®
Pecafil is a lightweight formwork system which forms a permanent formwork to beams and pile caps. Pecafil is made up of a special steel mesh with a heat shrunk layer of polyethylene foil applied to both sides. Pecafil is supplied in 2.4m long U-section units tailored to suit your requirements or pre-bent strips to form pile caps or bases. Pecafil weighs only 3kg per square metre but is very rigid making it lighter compared to timber enabling for much faster construction times and less labour costs.
